One of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies was interested in deploying RF Code’s wire-free environmental monitoring solution in its data centers and remote IT closets. The pricing and capability of our solution was appealing. But, like many organizations familiar with the traditional wired approach to monitoring, the company was skeptical that a less expensive solution that required no cabling could perform up to spec. They decided to test our active environmental sensors to determine if they were suitable for their multi-site, enterprise deployment.

Pitting our active sensors against sophisticated environmental probes, the test demonstrated that RF Code’s active sensors performed very well: precision was highly accurate, well within published specifications when compared with the highly accurate reference probes.

As a result of deploying the RF Code solution, the company has achieved the following results:

• Saved between $12K and $18K/CRAC unit on power consumption and overcooling
• Reduced its CO2 output
• Saved more than $32k in cabling and installation costs
• Reduced warranty issues caused by equipment and overheating
• Decreased its maintenance costs because it eliminated sensor calibration
