Latest System Integrator to use RF Code’s Wire-Free to Strengthen Portfolio
AUSTIN, TX (May 19, 2011) —RF Code, a leading provider of active IT asset management and wire-free environmental monitoring solutions, has announced that is has signed its fifth Partner, Ixian Solutions, since launching its European Channel Program in February. Ixian, a highly respected systems integrator with over 20 years experience in infrastructure and environmental monitoring, will utilise RF Code technology to provide new solutions for asset tracking, with a particular focus in the healthcare sector.
“We have worked with wired solutions for many years and had evaluated RF Code in the past but decided to wait until they had established a UK presence,” explains Royston Adamson-Green, MD of Ixian Solutions, “RF Code adds a wireless capability to our environmental monitoring solution and opens up asset tracking, which is an area in which we see strong demand - especially within the NHS.”
Adamson-Green, who has extensive experience with the NHS, has identified potential opportunities to improve equipment management in critical environments. “Making sure high value portable medical equipment is accurately tracked and managed can save cash strapped health trusts hundreds of thousands of pounds a year in unnecessary equipment purchases and leasing costs,” explains Adamson-Green, “Other solutions such as patient tagging can improve work flows around a busy hospital as well as improving security for vulnerable elderly and younger children.”
Ixian already has several NHS customers for its energy optimisation and environmental monitoring solution that Adamson-Green feels could benefit from asset tracking. “With RF Code, we are now able to offer a more complete portfolio of highly complementary solutions,” he adds.
