The 433 MHz R150 Rack Temperature Tag is a battery-powered RF transmitter that monitors temperature-sensitive assets in IT racks, within 2°F of accuracy, in environments ranging from 50°F to 130°F. Periodically reporting its unique ID along with the ambient temperature observed by the tag, the R150 is designed for use with:
-
RF Code’s R200 Rack Reader
-
All standard fixed readers and mobile readers
-
RF Code’s MobileTrak Lite 4.3, MobileTrak 4.1
-
And Zone Manager software packages
This single use, affordable tag is sealed in an impact- and splash-resistant polycarbonate enclosure with strong adhesive on the back of the case. Rack mounting is easy and flexible, allowing customers to optimize air flow monitoring: Tags can be placed on or in IT racks or suspended in air (via zip tie).
The tag operates with a very low duty cycle that translates to long battery life (typically >3 years at a 10-second beacon rate.) The R150’s form factor ensures clear signal transmission in high-density rack and data center deployments.
Featuring a low-battery alert, the tag will continue to monitor temperature for at least two months following this alerting. After that, the tag will continue to broadcast its unique ID and a low battery indication with each beacon, but will no longer report temperature.
