RF Code offers extended warranty plans for readers and software. The extended warranty plans must be purchased at the time the product is purchased. Extended warranty plans may be renewed for additional year(s), as long as the extended warranty is still in effect.

• 1 Year Extended Warranty – extends the standard 1 year warranty for an additional 1 year; resulting in 2 years total of warranty and support coverage.

• 2 Year Extended Warranty – extends the standard 1 year warranty for an additional 2 years; resulting in 3 years total of warranty and support coverage.

RF Code customers who have purchased an extended warranty program are entitled to minor revision updates for products that are field upgradeable, when and if available, applicable to the warranted products for the duration of the extended warranty program free of charge. A minor revision change would be from version 4.0 to version 4.1 or from version 3.3.2 to version 3.3.3. A major version upgrade would be from version 3.7 to version 4.0 and upgrade fees may apply.

Note: Field upgradeable products are those which customers or partners can upgrade electronically after product deployment. Products capable of field upgrade will indicate this support in their provided user guides. All other products do not support field upgrades. All Updates and upgrades are available on a when and if available basis.
