Assets move—and not by themselves: from servers in a data center to infusion pumps in a hospital to canisters providing specific gases for pharmaceutical lab use to laptops in a distributed enterprise. The result: data theft, overprovisioning, impact on the CAPEX, among other things.
RF Code provides multiple levels of automated wire-free security that supplement the security you’ve already deployed to protect these critical assets by providing the correlative information you need to know about that asset’s movement.
RF Code does this by using wire-free (active RFID) tags and sensors to capture the real-time movement of an asset, alerting the appropriate party when motion occurs.
Badge tags: R140 Badge Tags track personnel and their interaction with other tagged assets.
Door sensors: R120 Door Tags monitor and report door status, enabling you to track room and rack enclosure access attempts.
Tamper tags: M100, M130, M170, and M170-i asset tags can include sensors that immediately alert if someone attempts to remove the tag from the asset.
Egress/entrance portals: Unlike passive RFID portals, these solutions are not inhibited by water (the chief constituent of a person’s body) or metal (such as in a laptop.)
