RF Code’s sensor networks are used for centralized power, cooling and asset control. The offering consists of tiny electronic tags placed all around the data center – Richard Jenkins, vice president of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development at RF Code, says the company has been working with the Internet of Things for the past 17 years.

In this interview, Jenkins explains how sensor data has enabled RF Code to develop new products and services, including CenterScape – a data center infrastructure management (DCIM) platform.

He talks about the impact of IoT, and the importance of cooperation with own customers as well as third-party DCIM vendors.
